Kuripe “Silver Lining”: black wood and bloodwood, ground turquoise inlay

A hand-carved kuripe with a fine thread of ground turquoise running down its center, ending at the tip. A dark black-wood core sits between two deep red bloodwood wings, and slim bright inlay lines trace the edges of the form.

The two tubes open into a V and meet at a single point. The soft curve between them rests naturally in the fingers. The channels are smooth and evenly finished, and a natural oil finish brings out the grain.

One of a kind: no two pieces share the same grain or stone pattern.

Notice: Supplied as ethnographic botanical specimens, incense resins and ceremonial artifacts. No medical or therapeutic claims are made.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering, shipping and payment.

How do I choose between a Kuripe (self) and Tepi (partner)?↓

A Kuripe is V-shaped for applying Rapé to yourself. A Tepi is longer for a facilitator to blow Rapé into another person's nostrils during ceremony.

How do I clean and sanitize wooden or silver applicators?↓

Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Do not clean tepi or kuripe with Agua de Florida. For inner barrels, use a thin dry pipe cleaner. Avoid submerging wooden items in water.

Which materials are used?↓

The material of each applicator is stated on its product page, for example Sawo, Tamarind or Teak wood, silver or natural stone.

Is shipping discreet?↓

Yes. Packages are sent in plain packaging with no mention of the contents on the outside, within the EU, with tracking.
